Hi!

Thanks for joining me here!

My name is Amela Duheric and I am the director of Nightingale Singing located on the Gold Coast.

Music has been an integral part for most of my life. I have always been very creative and expressive about music, and now I am most passionate about sharing my knowledge with my students and providing a safe space for them to learn and develop their singing voice.

During a typical lesson, the student arrives and we catch up on our week and what our goals are. We then warm up our voice and select a focus point whether that be developing technique or working on a song.
Depending on what the students goals are, we can look at anything from establishing correct breathing technique, developing tone, improving pitch accuracy, performance skills and much more.

As a singing teacher, I understand the delicate nature of the voice and tailor each lesson to the individual's needs and learning abilities.

My qualifications include a Masters of Vocal Pedagogy (Griffith University), Bachelor of Music (Queensland University of Technology) and a Cert IV in Small Business Management. In the past, I have also been a committee member of ANATS (Australian National Association of Teaching of Singing) and was nominated for Gold Coast Music Award for my contribution to the music industry and music education on the Gold Coast.
